Covid safety policy: Vaccinations required with proof to be shown the first time one comes to rehearsal. Boosters highly recommended and encouraged. Masks required.
Northwest Chorale is always looking for new singers. If you are looking for a place to sing that will challenge you and satisfy you at the same time, the Chorale may be just the place for you. The Chorale averages 60 singers from the greater Seattle area. Members come from all walks of life, but have one thing in common – our love of music.
Northwest Chorale is both demanding and easygoing at the same time. Auditions are held informally by section and take place during the first several weeks of rehearsals. Singers are expected to keep up during rehearsal and to be able to sing the complexity of music we perform. Singers are also expected to regularly attend rehearsals with no more than three absences. If a member misses more than three rehearsals, he or she must receive permission from the director to perform with the choir.

A membership donation or “dues” helps to cover administrative expenses and the cost of putting on concerts – usually hiring professional soloists and instrumentalists. The suggested donation is $75/season, plus a small amount for purchasing scores when necessary. Scholarships available for those that may need dues assistance. Please inquire at the front table.
We are a friendly, inclusive, and active organization. All members are encouraged to serve on the Chorale board, as well as work with others in advertising and fund-raising.
Rehearsal Location
Northwest Chorale rehearsals take place on Monday nights from 7:00 - 9:30 PM at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, located at 12509 27th Ave. NE in Seattle.
Directions: To reach Lamb of God Lutheran from Seattle, take I-5 north to Exit 174 (NE 130th St) - one exit past the Northgate Mall. Head east after exiting, and the church will be on your left after approximately one mile.
